HK SL8-6 converted to an HK G36. Professional conversion by Black Ops defense (Home - Black Ops Defense) included HK G36 Magwell Adapter, bolt modifications, upper receiver modifications(to accept STANAG mags), trigger group install and HK G36 markings. Black Ops cut the SL8 barrel down to 18" and mounted a Surefire 3-prong Warcomp. Hera arms aluminum lower receiver and Magpul ACR stock. Also included is Troy folding BUIS, a 10 round PMAG and all original SL8 parts including a spare bolt and stock and HK rifle range bag, HK aluminum fore end side and bottom rails and the HK G36 armorer's manual as well as HK tool (for assembly/disassembly) and SL8 manual.
This rifle is 5.56/.223 caliber and accepts standard magazines (STANAG), including PMAGS. Has approximately 50 rounds down range to test functionality, zero the irons and the VCOG currently mounted on it. Sub MOA with match ammo.
Note the VCOG is not included and not for sale.
Located on the South Coast of MA. This rifle has been in MA for a few years now and is safe to own/transfer in MA. I am planning my exit and selling some things that should stay in MA for others to own/enjoy. This rifle is pretty special. There are only a few places in the country that have the knowledge and expertise to work with/modify polymer receivers and HK's in particular and with the new laws coming/passed in MA, being able to get this type of work done and shipped will be next to impossible. The SL8 is a fine rifle, but the G36 is superior in every way...
