Holsters for Glock and Smith & Wesson

My main carry pistol is a Glock 26. I currently use a Fobus ankle holster, which does the job, but not as well as I would like. It tends to slip and it is somewhat bulky. I'm not sure if an ankle holster is the way to go anymore at all.

So basically I'm looking for recommendations for the Glock. Like I said, I'm thinking it's time to make a change from carrying on the ankle. I want something that is not too bulky, and as comfortable as possible. I don't know if I should only consider holsters specifically designed for the Glock 26, or also look at the more universal types that work for the G26.

I also have a snub nose Smith & Wesson .38 special (model 637), for which I don't currently have a holster.

If anyone has any recommendations, I would really appreciate it. Thanks for your help.

This is how I carry my G26. I also had one for my PM9. It's a hip holster so you will need a good belt too.

Dale Fricke holsters. I have an appendix and an owb from him. Top notch. I also sometimes carry my 26 in a remora holster.

I carry my 26 in a galco king tuk at 3:30-4, and it's real comfortable for me.

Be careful if you put on night sights. I put Trigicons on my G19 and now it wont fit in the Kydex IWB that it used to fit in as the front sight is too high and gets caught while unholstering. I tried scraping down the inside of the holster to no avail. Looking for a new IWB as we speak.

I can't speak about the Glock, but the snubbie is fairly easy. The choices are:
Pocket holster - Pick one,,Galco,Uncle Mikes soft ones. They work, eventually deform and will need to be replaced.
Pocket Desantis Nemisis..Bulkier, but has a removable flap to break up the outline better in the pocket.
Remora IWB..I have one of these sticky little guys with reinforced opening. Works great, stays put, gun does not fall out.
Blackhawk belt CQC..Great little holster. Snug and rides close to body. This is my favorite when using a cover garment. Easy to draw from and re-holster. Really what a holster for a small gun should be.

Glock 26g4 with Trijicon HD Night sights in a Crossbreed around the 2:30-3:30 area. Big fan: I feel naked without it and the holster is very comfortable. Lifetime warranty.

I use an incog from haley strategic for my g19 I love it also phlster makes some nice holsters for a j frame

I use a Tagua leather IWB for my M&P 9c. I also have a S&W 642 I use an Elite Survival nylon IWB holster for that....I don't particularly like ankle carry.....
