My sons youth shooting club is taking some time off from shooting during the winter so we have started on some projects. This is what we started on today. Still needs lacquer and a strap, mine needs a plug in end still.

They look great- don't forget to post once you apply the finishing touches, though they look nice already. Nice selection of horn...
 
Thx all. Will be 2 weeks before the next meeting when we will finish them.

I guess they make powder dispenser for the end which will measure the powder for you but they are $30 a pop. We will wait on that part for future if we use em more.

My daughter doesnt shoot with the club but they said she can come and make one, hers is on the right.
 
A leather supply place in chelmsford, i forgot the name. The horns come hollowed out and sanded.

The company also pays a guy to travel around to places and teaches people to make various items free of charge. We are thinking of bringing him in for next project which will be leather cartridge bag.
