Thanks to all my well wishers. Home now after a fairly miraculous recovery. Only damage was to the left ventricle; time will tell on how much function I get back. The the other two arteries were clear or only lightly occluded.

Waiting for me at home were a 1941 M34 Beretta rig (.380), a matched crs43 bayonet (P. Weyersberg, Solingen) and frog for the 43byf that came last week, and some 8mm blanks for re-enacting....although I don't know how that will fit into my future for the moment.

Beeps happy, fed, and flopped.

Getting ready to go out for groceries. Noticed the grandfather clock had stopped. The date was still the 15 th...IT STOPPED 2 HOURS AFTER I DID.

My blood ran cold. Clock hasn’t quit mid wind in years. It’s about 120 years old.

Rig is now complete.

Home after a second four day stint in the hospital. Will try to start living now!

Second mag from Poland was waiting for me at home. Identical to the original; don't know if you can tell them apart.

Ammo is Remington 88gr JHP; 955 fps and 190ft/lbs energy, which is identical to the 95 grain Remington FMJ ball. I have used this ammo with great results; the advantage of a JHP but functionality of ball ammo.

Happy to see you're back home!
40caliber is on his way to Frankfurt and will fly back to BOS tomorrow.
He will have a genuine Bundeswehr issue leather holster for your P1 for you - hope, this speeds up the healing process a bit.
Enjoy!

Thank you Juergen. My 6/85 Bw P1 is looking forward to its new clothes! I have seven P1 and 38 magazines for extended range time.

So was this Beretta the personal bring back of General “Triple H” Howard?

yup, a little tired last night with Jet lag, , will get it in the mail by this saturday latest, got more back to back business travel coming. Q1 can be tough

Took the big rabbit down to the basement and the old Doctor's scale. She will be 2 on 2/13 and fully grown. Hoping we'd make 20 pounds, we came in at 18.25 lbs. Looks like picking up my rabbit is nearly twice my weight limit of 10 pounds. Oops

Demolition of the kitchen and bathroom rescheduled for 2/18.
