I'm looking for a full size, all stainless 1911. How are the Sigs compared to S&W?

I have the STX and it is a great shooter. Like glide I am not all that concerned about external extractors, etc. that make them a lane apart from the 'true 1911'. Haven't had a single problem after about 500 rounds down the pipe. For the price it has many of the bells and whistles including a high beavertail, ambidextrous safety, checkered front strap, and magwell. PM me if you need tips where to get a hold of a SIG 1911.

Offhand do you know what kind of safety system these use? Is it a Series 80, Series 70, or does it use the Swartz type job when you push on the beavertail and then it pushes the FP safety up that way?

I'd love to find a GSR that's nitroned up, just to see how its put together.
