How can you tell a pre ban Ramline 50 round mag for a Ruger 10-22

Saw some "stated" Pre ban Ramline 10/22 mag online, and they look the same as the new one. Any idea how to ID them?

Honestly I have no idea. I know that there are some legit pre-ban Ramline 25, 30, 35 rd mags out there but unsure if there were any 50 rd mags made pre-ban.

I've recently seen some for sale (marked as pre-ban) in packages where the Copyright date on the back of the package is 2009! That would be the first thing I would look for (if sold packaged).

Most of them I have seem has no date code, but thanks for the info, at least there is one thing to look for.
