HSA - Approved Target Holders

Those are designed to fit into the cement blocks. What you may find more useful is a target holder with a stand so you had more flexibility as to location, and don't have a problem if the holes in the blocks are filled with crap.

And be sure to buy a target stand that will take a normal piece of strapping so you don't have to modify the legs!

Thanks for the replies.

So, am I correct that the legs are just 2 pieces of 1"x3" nailed together....because the picture does not show that?

Any recommendations for quality target holder/stands?

I just build a stand out of a few sections of PVC pipe with bends. Then I made a frame out of crapy wood (the legs of the frame fit right in the open Pvc tubes.

It works and the crappy wood frame is easy to replace.

The big thing here is the height. We need to ensure that the targets are set so that all shots impact the lower portion of the backstop. We can't have any rounds "skipping" off the range surface and possibly going over the berm.

Have fun, be safe.
