Right...

So I got the 4.5lb trigger connector from Glockmeister the other day in the mail. I was initially going to have someone put it in and then I thought, youtube... I'm sure I can find a video that shows me how to put it in. So I find a good video and realize I dont have a punch... no biggie, I'll use a mini philips head... The pins didnt want to come out, so I tapped them out gently. No biggie.. I follow the instructions, and swap out the bar. That was easy. Then I go to put the pins back in. I get the first two pins in and as im tapping the last one into place, my phone rings, I get distracted, the screwdriver slips, and puts a small hole in the frame....

Motherf#@$&*....

Its little. Not really noticeable, doesnt affect the function of the pistol... im just pissed that I got careless.

4 on the rant scale.

Also I hope you mean a dent and not hole. A hole would take some serious force I think.

Edit: btw...how does the connector feel? I am thinking of going with a Ghost tactical one.

Small scars give a gun character. It's not just a pretty lady. Well, it's a Glock so it could never be called pretty anyway.

My brother has found the OEM Glock 4.5lb (formerly 3.5) give the best end result compared to the other options out there. I've tried a bunch out as well and would agree.

Or just buy the little Glock armorers tool. What most don't know is that the back edges of the armorers tool are used to center the pins. Not a big deal on the trigger pin or the trigger housing pin but some have broken the locking block pins by not having them centered properly. Also there is an order to remove/insert the pins that most ignore.

Throw it in a pile of dirt. It'll make you feel better.
If you want to see dents and dings, look at the magwell of your Glock. If you've done any sort of quick reloading you'll probably have your share of bumps down there.

Thats a good point. Glocks arent supposed to be pretty.

On the plus side I definitely think its shooting better (not that it was bad before). I kinda dicked one of the classifier stages, but that was all me. It was definitely worth the trouble to put in.

My thought is to just take it to the sand pit throw it on the ground and stomp on it a few times then kick the sheet out of it till your leg is tired and it will get a lifetime of character. Just a suggestion.
