Atlanta is waaaay worse than Boston, in many ways. I think the only thing worse in Boston is the traffic.
Rural Georgia isn't bad, and some places are beautiful, but like many states, the big dump cities dominate the politics and policies.

Yes, it gets hot. But 90 degrees happens in Boston too. The difference is the frequency. They get more hot days for sure and we get many more cold days. But it gets cold there in January and February and we get 20's and they get 40's
