I am not sure I can agree with you about the restaurants or things to do. I think it depends on your interests and preferences.
Atlanta is more spread out. Boston has better museums and more history, better sports teams. But its also older and cramped, more rats, but fewer ghetto rats.
Better gun laws in Georgia, for sure.
I think the suburbs are nicer in Georgia.
