I need help finding a OWB holster for a G-27. I currently have a Don Hume JIT holster. The problem is that the barrel of the G-27 digs into my side. For some strange reason the only way I can comfortably wear the holster is in a cross-draw position at 2:00 (it is a left-handed holster). However, if I place the holster at 10:00 it is very uncomfortable. Off the top of my head I cannot recall how wide my carry belt is but I can say that it is as wide as normal pants will allow. Can anyone suggest a left handed OWB belt holster that will not dig into my side?

If you like Kydex these are nice (http://www.comp-tac.com/index.html). I have one for my G26/27 and like it. It does however move the gun away form your hip, maybe too much for carrying. But it sure doesn't hurt! I have the paddle version. Great service and response.

I have a JP that I like well enough, but the muzzle still protrudes. I carry my G27 IWB most of the time though. I have a Sidearmor 4th Gen. IWB - Kydex, and it's not the most comfy holster I've ever worn.

Check out http://www.rigrate.com It's a great site I discovered last week that has ratings for 200+ holsters of all style and materials. Very well laid out. It's all actual user reviews, so no magazine BS.

Good luck!

Massne,

The only comfy place I found for my G26 was right at 3:00, just behind hip bone.
Anything forward of that or behind the short barrel would dig in. I do carry IWB though (a Kramer #3 IWB).

I own a Kydex OWB holster for my 27...i love it even tho it makes the gun sit a lil 2 far from my body...but im sure u could eliminate that with a Kydex paddle holster.
