I put 40 rounds thru my Shield today and I could not hit anything, In the past it has been very accurate. I have only put around 150 rounds thru it. Could this cause the issue?

Not really, that pin is a second pin holding in the trigger housing, the primary pin is the large pin. You can tap that one back in and monitor it.

The take down lever held in place with a keyway , not that pin. It's a roll pin as most call it or a tension pin as machinists call it. You could get a new one at a hardware store, or send the gun back to SW for service.

Happens to the sear housing pin on my Fullsizes all the time since I'm always taking them apart and beating up those pins. put a drop of Blue Loctite (a nice small drop) in hole and some on the exposed part on the other side and tap that sucker back in. Leave it alone until the morning. It won't move at all after that until you use a punch and it won't mess with anything inside of the gun.
