Walked into my FFL, saw it in the case and walked out with it 20 minutes later. I went there to check out a S&W tactical 9mm they had. I saw the Beretta sitting next to the s&w in the case and could not resist. Also had a price that was $120 cheaper (both used) too!

Aside from my little P22, this is my first real handgun. Condition is excellent, very clean inside and out. From all the google searching and digging around I have done, I discovered this to be a fairly rare firearm. Extra mags are even more rare. Luckily it came with 2. [smile]

Can't wait to head to the range now, be nice to go BANG instead of POP.[smile]

Anyone have additional resources of info for this they can point me torwards?

Nice find! I love the look of the Berettas.

Me too.. I have been eyeing the fullsize 92 for quite a while now. I was having a difficult time deciding whether or not to buy the fullsize, or a decent carry gun from another manuf. I did not even know these existed and it was the answer to my decision making problem I needed!

As a new owner of a full-size 92FS they're a sweet gun and a very beginner friendly too. My 3-semi's prior were all Glocks and I was amazed at how smooth the slide/action is on the Beretta.

I'm not a big fan of the full size 92, but that little number looks real nice! Makes the pistol look better balanced.

Does it feel better to you compared to the full sized one? How hard are they to find in DAO?

I don't have any trigger time with the fullsize. But it does feel good to shoot [smile]

I love the Inox and shooters will remember you for it, but with the SS finish you have to clean it after a day at the range else it looks like a real dirty gun. Shoot clean ammo, and stay away from the cheap stuff. If you didn't clean a black gun for months, you still couldn't tell the difference.

I do not recommend the 92FS(c) as a carry gun in the warmer months, it prints through clothing too easily.

I actually carry it quite often with shorts and a t-shirt no problem. I keep it at about 7:30 to 8:00 in a cheapie IWB holster. Only issues I have with printing is when bending over to tie a shoe. I did buy some longer t-shirts to accomodate ccw though.

here's an updated pic with a skeletonized hammer and Hogue rubber slip-on. I love the way the grip feels with the slip-on!
