So I have my PTG bottom metal on the way to me. Placed an order two days ago with Boyds stocks for an AT-1 stock inlet for the PTG bottom metal, an option they list for several of their stocks for Remington 700 SA. Boyd’s left me a voice mail today they cancelled my order as they no longer offer PTG inletting on AT-1 stock. No problem, just order one in another style. Nope. All options for PTG (pacific tool and gauge) bottom metal scrubbed from their web site.

Anyone know any gunsmiths in area that inlets stocks for the badger M5 pattern? I’m near Rt. 2 / 495 intersection and would rather drive a few hours than ship stock. I routinely go west to Granby, north to Sunapee, to Southern Maine so in that area or close to it.

If I can’t find someone, I’ll try to do it myself. Have an old stock or two to practice on.
