I can get it for just over 900.00. I want precision and am wondering if this a good way to go.

Yup...That'll fill the bill. Topped it off with a nice scope, maybe a bipod and your good to go. something like that screams reloads but I have a DPMS configured similar to that one and it shoots amazingly at 200 yds with just Federal XM193 ammo. Good luck.

I have that same gun, mine has a Magpul PRS stock, DPMS tactical grip, Counter Sniper optics. Harris bi-pod, great gun, made in CT, so if there is ever an issue, turn around is quick.
