I am planning a 22lr liquidation sale. I have a few 22lr pocket pistols for consideration. I will post what is for sale later in the week in the WTS section

S&W model 61-2 Escort looks like this http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=143780161#PIC

Davis industries deringer 22lr.....chrome is what it is

Beretta 21-A bobcat 22lr. Any info on dateing this would be helpful.

some 22 rifles also but later.

I do not know much about these. I know they have not been used much in the last 10+ years or so.

I plan on cleaning them up and running a few mags through them for function test.

I have a Beretta 21A .22lr. Very nice little pocket .22. Odd design in that it has no extractor. Ejection is achieved by just blowback and the ejector, but it works. Mine only likes high velocity ammo. Standard velocity stuff will run but it's dodgy.

As far as dating it, not sure. Get the serial # and call Beretta maybe?

Good luck.

the escort was perchased in massachusetts in early 70s the others are still with ffl dealer doing paper work

Personally I would not opt for a 22LR pocket pistol. Today you can purchase a 9mm semi auto such as the Kahr PM-9 with a lot more "omph" than any 22LR pistol.

I have both stainless and blue one of these .Fun to shoot and collect . If it has the little plastic case and box it get's a better price . Both mine are 61-3's ...the last variation .

Hey ,,,I'm serious , ,,,these are fun to shoot . S&W started to make similiar 22's with the barrel low (2213,,,,2214) and they shoot great ! If they are ......"Cute"........oh well ! [grin]
