(thought) I heard that older MkIII 22/45s had an issue with the Hammer Pivot Pin coming out....I was cleaning mine after shooting last night and noticed that the pivot pin on my 22/45 is "over" a bit, while not loose in the slot it does sort of shift alittle when pushed. Here's some pics and thanks for any advice

just superglue it!![smile]

no really though I'm trying to remember how they stay in place. (I don't have my MKIII with me right now). Does is simply drift out or is the sear spring or something clamped onto a cut in the pin?

oh, boy. Well it doesn't look as though your disconnector is as badly damaged as the one the other guy posted. And at least it's an easy fix.
Better than having frame damage! Have you taken your Ruger completely apart, down to the last pin? I did it when I first got mine and I had a hell of a time. It took me over an hour to just get it all apart. Where as I can take down a GI 1911 in like 2 minutes! I'm a little quicker now, but it still takes a lot longer than any other semi-auto I own.

Good luck [grin]
