It's 2022 - anyone still carrying a revolver?

I have (3) .357's: a Ruger LCR, and a 3" 692 and a 4" stainless 627.

The Ruger I have loaded with 38 spl.

I have carry set ups (holsters and speed loaders) for all of them and every once in a while, I have rotated them in to EDC.

Maybe we should revive an old shoulder holster thread: Shoulder Holster with thick winter coats?

I know I'd like to hear some real-life experiences before taking the plunge. I've had a beauty (long gone) and I now have a Maxine. Beauty is better.

I just use an old Vietnam-era USGI tanker holster. I think I bought it for about ten bucks? It fits the only three pistols I ever take walking or hiking: a 1911, an Inglis Hi-Power, and my S&W M1937.

You do have the cross-strap over your chest, so that's something to be mindful of if you unzip while you're, say, walking around Lake Quannapowitt instead of scaling Mt Chocorua. But it's comfortable, cheap, versatile, and it'll last forever.
