What matters is the retention it has when you are wearing it. If you intend to carry your gun around with the holster in your hand upside down, then perhaps it doesn’t have enough retention [wink]

Thanks! Yeah I guess the full kydex holsters' retention doesn't get better when you're wearing it. My hybrid holster is definitely more comfortable, so I've been switching to it.

For leather and hybrid IWB holsters, the tension from your belt adds to the retention. For OWB holsters, your belt doesn’t add to the retention.

That’s why my ordinary belt works for IWB with the 30S but when I try to use my OWB with the Beretta 92FS it “hangs like wizard’s sleeve!” Lol
