Hey folks,

I've had the pleasure of visiting Harvard a couple of times, and I plan on joining. I was told that the monthly meeting is the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. That would make the next meeting this coming Thursday.

Can anyone confirm this so I don't show up to an empty clubhouse?

Thanks!

Great!!! It's the best club around hands down!!! I know I'm bias but I've been a member for many years!!!

Membership requires NRA membership. If you're already a member of the NRA, bring proof. The safety tour is the Sunday following the monthly meeting. It starts at 10:00 and if you're interested in long range shooting, bring a rifle and get qualified at the 300 yard range.

But you have to shoot a target at the 100 yd. range first just to show that the rifle is zero'd and you can hold a group. You do this part on your own.
I am at the 300 every decent Sunday to qualify people from 10:30 til around 2:30.

Ticks at HSC???

I will be there to join up tomorrow night as well. I can't wait. I also have a quick question, are the ticks really bad at Harvard. I am not a big fan of having bug spray all over me and would like to know if I should buy some of that stuff we used to soak our cammies in in the Corps, I think it was called permethrin. Thanks in advance for any info in advance.

I have never had a tick from Harvard. We do have deer fly's during the season, but unless you go out in the puckerbrush I wouldn't be concerned about tick's. We do have deer!
