I used to fish with a gill net years ago and thought that everyone should have one. They catch fish very easily and could be used in the woods to catch game if you have one strong enough. Mine worked great for turkeys. Just spread it out in the woods and after you get turkeys coming to the corn you pored in a line. Then put that net up and you could catch a bunch at one time. What is nice about catching them with a gill net is that the GW doesn't hear you shoot and you won't break any teeth on the buck shot. One problem though is if a deer gets tangled in it it will tear up your net.

Good idea, I'm going to look into a net now.
I picked a few humane traps at tractor supply, they were two for 25.00. The way I figure is you can trap small game and then pop them while they are caged with a pellet rifle or BB gun.

Best bet is about a dozen rat traps.
