Ernesto’s is legit. I like pizza a lot and that was my go to when I worked downtown. Florian next to the state house was also good. Never found bovas, but bricco salumeria (down a little ally next to modern) seemed good to me. Not the restaurant - the little Italian market and bakery. The guys making the bread didn’t speak English - or at least pretended not to. But I guess I don’t know if their foreign language was Italian either.
