Anybody own one of these? I found someone who wants to (possibly) sell one for short coin and want to know what you all think. I've heard good and bad 'bout these little pocket rockets. He has one in 9mm as well, whats better? or would the PF9 be a better choice?

I have plenty of compacts and full size, looking for a mini. and dont want Walthers of "cheapo" minis.

I don't think you pissed anyone off, its just that the .40's are probably a bit rare, at least in Mass. I have the P-11 (9mm) and I think it has a fairly sharp though not uncontrollable recoil. I sold a .40 conversion kit I had for it without ever trying it out because I had a feeling it might be a little too much for my somewhat arthritic wrists.

I like the P-11 a lot and think it is a good gun for the money. If you can get a .40 and your wrists are strong and not arthritic like mine, you will probably be fine with it. If you can, try out a glock 27 or a kahr .40 and if you can handle them ok you'll probably be fine with the P-40. The .40 may be a bit hard to find, especially if you are in Mass, but they do show up from time to time.
