Released in 2004 to celebrate Kimber’s 25th year of 1911 happiness. The third best thing about this gun is that it does not have the cursed safety system of the series 2 Kimber’s.

The second best thing is that I replaced a few parts with quality steel parts from Colt, Brown or Wilson — please don’t ask me to remember. I switched out the anniversary grips because they were scratched up and a buddy needed them for something. Replaced them with standard rubber Kimber grips. The FLGR is still in there. If you hate them, I probably have a standard GI set I can swap in.

The best thing about this gun- it’s more accurate than you are. Period. Unless you’re a super duper master class bullseye competitor😎

Excellent condition with some light wear on high spots. Very light idiot scratch. A better gun than any but the semi-custom makers are producing today.

Comes with Kimber box, couple/few mags and whatever paperwork I can find.

$800 picked up in Henniker, NH or wherever convenient to both of us.

If you’re one of Maura’s subjects, a Mainer or Vermont hippy, I’m happy to facilitate legal transfer.

Thanks for looking!

Is there a better way to spend your tax return or Costco rebate?
