This is a plausible theory, but it is only a short term solution since the ammo manufactures will ramp up production to meet demand and sooner or later they will catch up. The .gov can't indefinitely continue buying ammo just to keep it out of the hands of the public, that is just stupidity. It would probably be far easier to force the companies out of business. I see reloading becoming WAY more popular if this retardation continues, though.
