Every social security office has an armed guard.  Every IRS office has an armed guard.

As for reloading.  It is getting very difficult to get components.  Ammunition mfg's obviously get served first by powder makers and other component makers.  They are way bigger customers than hand loaders.

The .gov is not trying to backdoor gun control by buying up all the ammo.  When this started we all watched shooters rush to their nearest gunshop and start buying as much ammo as they could lay their hands on.  The pipeline has been drained all the way back to the source.  It is as if everyone in a town has turned on every faucet and fire hydrant.  After a while, the water tower empties out and only a trickle flows.

Once mfg's start to catch up, then the hoarders will start to relax. They will start to shoot up their stockpiles and there will be a mini glut of ammo until the mfg's adjust downward again.
