Greetings all! First, I'm keeping my "Radtekk" account here, too many years to let that go. Now, having said that....

After 28 years in Healthcare I've hung up my scrubs. I'm in the final stages of starting a MAC Tools franchise in Tennessee, effectively open for business as of 2/7. I'll be driving around East Tennessee selling MAC and Dewalt tools and MAC's budget line of "Expert" tools.

So far I have ZERO pricing information, that will come in a few weeks at "Tool School" in Columbus OH starting 1/24. I will absolutely be able to ship stuff out, hoping I can order and drop-ship, I'll find out soon enough. In any event there will certainly be NES pricing available:) I also plan to do some sort of monthly raffle/drawing/karma (format to be determined) starting in March.

Anyway, keep your eyes open, feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer. You can reach me here as LeeTheToolGuy, by email at [email protected] or call/text my business line at 865 337 2046.

One thing.... To be clear, I will NOT poach accounts. If you already have a MAC rep, I won't be your new one.

I no longer have a MAC rep here in FL, and the NH MAC rep gave up on our shop as my friend buys nothing for new tools and I am only there a few months out of the year.

If I ever need anything new from MAC I'll call you!

Thanks for the offer !

Good luck Lee. A very hard business. I was Snapon. Tool school will teach you a bit. But, always remember. Some people have bad credit for a reason. They will string you along. Don't be afraid to repo the tools. You'd be surprised how fast they find the money half the time. The other half never planned to pay you. You will meet some great people as well. Don't let the manager/trainer get you to do things that you don't feel is right. It's your business. Their job is to get as much product on the streets. Not collect the money.

I tried my hand at it right after 9-11. I lasted 8 months. I started with 20K in the bank. I told myself I will stop when that money is gone. 8 months later. Done. Today is a different market. Hopefully it will be better for you. I am sure they will give you a larger route as well. The guy who has my route has 3 old routes into 1. He is doing ok now.
