Obviously Im not looking for a legally binding opinion on this. If I was, Id ask a firearms law attorney for some professional advice to cover my butt. Especially in MA.
That said, does anyone know what the current law might be regarding possessing an 80% receiver, milling one out and keeping it for personal use, in MA?
I could do this and keep it in NH legally (which is where I shoot anyways) I guess, but it would be nice to be able to bring it home and keep it here with my other neutered firearms. [frown]

It is legal to possess an 80% lower, It is legal to possess an AR receiver, it is legal to removed metal from an 80% lower to turn it into a receiver... what may not be legal is how you configure and assemble the rifle. I am not a lawyer
