According to the Telegram, he's being held without bail (shocking). He also has a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Thursday, where the judge will find him too dangerous to let back into society.

If this is a huge arsenal, what would a medium or small arsenal be? Zero guns? The nitwit guy on NECN this afternoon referred to it as a "HUGE arsenal"
The MA state police major in the press conference needs a dope slap, what a tool. As you said, they even brought in the chair of the selectmen for the press conference for an arrest of no permission slip. The news stations are having an orgasm showing the pics every 15 minutes.
On the table of hype there were two extra AR complete uppers with no lowers. So he had one AR, 2 pistols, some mags and ammo plus all the really illegal stuff like a bulletproof vest, survival bag, etc.
There must have been 12 liecester police patches spaced every 4 inches to make sure a patch is in every possible picture.
Did you see their show and tell news conference? The Mass St police major Francis Lahey explained what an VERY serious situation this was. They even said they were told by some that the guy may have been looking for a suicide by cop scenario. Which is even more interesting since they caught the guy wearing a bulletproof vest.
Channel 7 in Boston was hyping it like the others. In the segment, they interviewed morons at gas stations, in parking lots, etc. and asked what they thought and were they scared, etc. One 20 something burnout looking douche said 'no one needs a machine gun like that'.
"This is an officer's worst nightmare," said Major Francis Lahey of the Massachusetts State Police. "The damage or the carnage that
could have been inflicted by the firepower is almost unthinkable."

The hype over this is insane. The guy may or may not have slapped his GF and they're making him out to be Al Capone. Got to justify those salaries.
Actually that boat was very effective until the police allowed the people out of their homes and the home owner noticed something wasn't right.
In the pic of the AR, the hammer and trigger pins look strange to me. Does anyone know what brand of AR it is and why the pins look so large?
Looks like some type of 'anti-walk' trigger and hammer pins to me...
So this kid was brought into court today for his dangerousness hearing. His bail on another open matter was revoked for 90 days, so this hearing is to determine if there are any conditions they can place on him that could insure the safety of the community.
Although he has no convictions on his record, the ADA submitted a slew of police reports to the judge showing this kid's been in fights in nightclubs. Then he went on to describe the arsenal the kid was found with, including 50 cal magazines, interchangeable stocks that allow him to use various caliber ammunition in his assault rifle, and the fact that he didn't instantly drop to the ground when so ordered by the police when apprehended, risking his own life and those of the troopers.
Needless to say, the kid was found dangerous, and will not be seeing the light of day before trial.
maybe the ada can let me know which interchangeable stocks he had that allow diff ammo to be used.So this kid was brought into court today for his dangerousness hearing. Just saw saw it on the news and the cops, reporter and one ugly town woman made it sound like he had all the guns, ammo etc that the Army has.
The he town woman was glad he was were he belonged, but I thought he was still on the loose.

Looks like he pleaded guilty. sentenced to 2½ years to 2½ years and a day in state prison....
"use of body armor in the commission of a felony"
This is a thing? Really? so it's worse if you use body armor in the commission of a crime as opposed to just committing a crime in a denim jacket?
