Appleseed is coming to Leominster Sportsman's Association!!

When: Evacuation Day! Saturday March 17, 2018

Check-in at 0830!!

Appleseed events are typically one or two-day programs that teach the rifle marksmanship skills that were once commonly practiced in America. Our Instructors put in nearly 200 hours of training so they can teach the skills that will one day allow a Rifleman to be accurate out to 500 yards. This distance is known as the traditional “Rifleman’s Quarter Mile” and has been part of America’s marksmanship repertoire since our country’s earliest days.

During breaks, we’ll tell you the true story of the earliest days of our nation, including the detailed events of April 19, 1775. You may be surprised by what you hear.

Whether you’ve never fired a rifle before or you’re already a competitive shooter, no one who comes to a Project Appleseed event ever leaves the same. The new skills, history, and friendships are inspiring and life-changing.

ATTENTION!

Due to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) a set of United States Government regulations on the export and import of defense- related articles, services, and training; and other applicable state and federal laws, only United States Citizens or Green Card holders are allowed to participate at an Appleseed event.

Photo ID WILL be required at check-in.

Attention Shooters!!

This event will still be within "Winterseed" range.

If it's cold and snowy there is the potential for the appearance of the coveted "icicle" patch!

Hope to see you there!

Shooters! Less than a week left to go before the event! Weather forecast indicates below freezing (barely) temps and sunny skies. It's looking like a weekend to earn the coveted Icicle Rifleman's patch.

Come out Saturday to celebrate Evacuation day, and learn a new skill, and maybe earn a patch.

You could have something to brag about on Sunday over corned-beef and green beer!

Thanks, but the real credit goes to Agent355. She was Shoot Boss in training and did an outstanding job of running the event.

Thanks also to lupis42 and MetalgodZ for making it look easy.

Congratulations to our proud owners of the Icicle patch, and Dave, who earned a Distinguished Rifleman rocker.

It was an awesome day out! Thanks to the Leominster Sportsman's Association for hosting the event!
