Liberty Civil Defense 9mm

I'd curious to see how much penetration the round has in ordnance gelatin.

I remember seeing a few vids where it was tested. I think half the bullet penetrated about 8 inches or so and had a huge expansion pocket about halfway in then fragmented. The other bit, what looked to be the base, penetrated anywhere between 10-12 inches or so.

Old post, but I'm bored. Picked up some of this stuff a few weeks back for a new toy. I'm only carrying 5 rounds, so the weight savings is minimal, but if your toting around 10+ rds, the weight can add up. Liberty 38sp 50gr ( 44 grams ) and Remington 158gr lrn ( 75 grams ) …..two different animals here, but it's all I have.

Seems as though the Liberty bullets are available as a component in .224" diameter, but I don't see pistol calibers offered.
Lehigh does offer their bullets as a components, if those are acceptable.
