all i have to say is wow...rummaging around my ammo storage and i found some boxes of ammo with price tags from as recent as last summer and as late as a few years ago

1000 rounds of brand new usgi 55gr fmj .223 = $200 SHIPPED
AE .308 fmj = $5.99/20 rounds
Federal champion .45 acp fmj = $19/100 rounds

im scared to see what the boxes of wolf 7.62x39 say

had i known then what i know now about ammo i would have stock piled like a mother!

a few years ago when money was tight i only bought what i planned on shooting...i had heard stories of guys buying thousands of rounds at a time and figured never in my life would i be shooting that much...boy was i wrong

Funny I did the same thing a week or so ago. I found a few boxes from a few years ago of PMC .223 with the price sticker still on it, $2.99 and a couple of dozen boxes of Remington .223 at $3.99. Like finding 'gold'.
