Looking for a place to shoot.

First of all, let me get this out of the way. If you're eaisly offended you should stop reading.



I'm looking for a range thats within 10-20 minutes of where i live (Millis, Ma). somewhere I can shoot my rifles Preferably my new mosin, without being bothered by to many people.

I'd rather it not cost me an arm and a leg to join. I Don't care if it has a big event hall or a kitchen, or holds weekly tournaments. Don't care about sunday dinners or anything like that. To be honest I just wanna spend a few hours by myself enjoying one of my favorite hobbies. I understand clubs need to pay for upkeep and such, but anything >200 seems like highway robbery to me.

Have you tried Fin,Fur and Feather off of rte 109 on Millis-Medfield line? I'm not sure what the yearly dues are, but it is close.

I'm pretty sure you can't shoot centerfire rifle there. I could be wrong though.

www.hsasports.com 100/200 yard range with lots of shooting positions and few people to bother you.

I agree that place is definitely quiet and no one bothers you, except Thursday nights when they have high power prone practice they take over the range.. other than that it's a real good place to shoot IMHO

Thursday evenings (actualy late afternoon and early evening as the range closes 1/2 hr before sunset) are shared by the smallbore prone group and the high power team. The range remains open to others.
