Looking for a rifle/pistol club In southeast MA.

Hey,

I'm from the fall river area,(Swansea) and my buddy and I are looking for a shooting range we can become member at.

East Warren rod and gun club is 7 minutes down the road from me but I would only be able to shoot untill dusk.

I was also looking at the Taunton rod and gun club. It's looks real nice and I beleive it's 24/7 with a key card. But it's a half hour ride there.

If anyone else lives in my area and can recomend I nice club to join that would be great.

I would love somewhere where I could go whenever I wanted. And right now all I have is a handgun. In the future I will be purchasing a rifle and shotgun.

The Taunton pistol ranges are fantastic, and 24/7. The rifle ranges are quite nice as well. I am a member there.

The Copicut range looks nice but they close at 6? I will never be able to go except on weekends.

I'm loving the Taunton one, is there a lot of members there? Or should I say how often would all firing lanes be taken?

I'm also a member of the taunton club, and really like it. The only days I avoid going there are Tue,Wed, and Friday. Wed is .22pistol team night, Wed is Jr .22 rifle team night, and Fri it's open to the public.(not sure if they are still doing the friday open to the public thing) Besides those days anytime I go there usually between 5-9pm I'm the only one there. If you ever want to check the place out send me an invite.

I'll echo what what beaker and t-town have to say about Taunton. If you are looking for 24x7 indoor pistol (and .22 rifle), you simply can't beat it. There are over 1000 members last I heard, but I have never run into a crowd at either the indoor or outdoor ranges, even on weekends.
