I have a USP Compact 9mm with a LEM/Match "hybrid" trigger in it. It still has the safety selector, but no decock feature, as its not needed. I would like to have it converted back to a Variant 1, da/sa, with the "match" part of the trigger retained. I have absolutely no idea how to do this, what parts Ill need or what it will cost. I would prefer to just send it out and have HK do it but Id rather give my business locally to a qualified armorer. Any help from anyone will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

its not to difficult to change the variant in the gun. i have a uspc 9 and when i first cleaned it i took every part out and its not that bad to do. all i did was follow some instructions that i found online and it went well. the match trigger has some modifying to do to get it to fit as they were only made for the full size. a lot of people say that you can just drill and tap a hole in the existing trigger to install a travel stop. If you dont have any luck on this forum go to hkpro.com there some good guys over there that would be more then happy to help you do it

Thank you, I will def check that out. Im not too worried about a travel stop, I just want to retain the shorter reset. Im not a member at hkpro but ill search through the forums to see what I can find. I just want to make sure I order the proper parts as Im not completely sure what was and was not changed when it was converted to LEM. Thanks again!

If you find the USP dis assembly guide this will take you 10 minutes if you have the right lever and variant 1 detent plate thingy.
