looking to buy a gun safe, wasn’t sure where to post this. Need one at least 55 inches tall.

budget is 1000, would also need it to be delivered to me, thanks.

If you're planning to get firearms insurance, look for a unit which can be bolted to structure and weighs at least 300 pounds (common underwriting criteria for five-figure policies). If you just want a big metal box on an upper floor, look for one of the "knockdown" models you can have delivered as a flat pack, basically the IKEA furniture of gun "safes".

There are several retailers who will deliver a RSC (Residential Security Container) to Epping.

Shooters Outpost (Hooksett) had Champion & Winchester last time I was there, and Old Glory (Mason) usually has a couple models from Eastern Security Safe (Mendon, MA) on the sales floor.

You need two safes. A cheap one in plain sight with obvious gunny type stickers on it. That's where you keep power tools. And a more secure one well hidden where you keep your guns. Jack.
