I did my NRA Basic course under EddieCoyle (a fantastic instructor) and he sponsored me for Shirly R&GC, a great club of which I am now a member. He agreed to sponsor me for Harvard as well but can't make a meeting till December. He told me to post here and see if anyone would step up and help me (and him) out.
I'm a member of GOAL and NRA, own three rifles and four handguns (as of this week), LTC Class A, etc. Harvard is the closest range to my house and it's where I took my range test for NRA course. When my sons were in scouts, the good people at Harvard let our scout troops use the facility for outdoor winter campouts, so I'm familiar with the club and their generous ways. Also spent many freezing January nights billeted on one range or another there, so I'd like to see what they're like in more clement weather.
I've also read through the HSC rules on their site and agree and would comply with all of them.
So ... can anyone help? I'd be happy to meet in person before any sponsorship, to let you get to know me and see I'm not a nutjob. I could wait till December, but I'd really like to get in sooner. I'm new on this site, so I don't exactly know how this works, but I think you can send me email through the site. If not we can work something else out. Thanks for any help.
