I'm looking to take about a half a dozen of my car / truck / toolbox guns and paint them in some type of camo pattern to break up the gun lines. What kind of paints do you guys recommend? Also what kind of prep would you do for stainless steel, the cheap nickel they do on J Frames and for plastic/nylon frames? I don't care about any loss of value on these guns since they are all just tools to me and am looking just to get reasonable durability and life from the paint. For one revolver I would like to be able to reverse the process if I ever wanted to, something easily dissolvable would be nice, this would be going over a matte stainless finish.
Also for the pattern I am considering digital camo stencils with a base coat color that is not black. I mostly want these guns to disappear if they are in a vehicle or if I'm holding in my hand.
