Looking for paint recommendations for a few user guns.

He’s talking about using 20yr old cans of spray paint. You really think he’s going to spring for cerakote? lol
Yeah whatever Ceracote would run on six or seven guns I'll save enough for another scratched but functional j frame. You can't have enough j frames.

I hate my j frame, never shoot it, but won’t ever sell it (unless someone offered me something stupid). Scandium frame + titanium cylinder + .357 mag = pain

Anything I carry I don't really shoot much so I just wipe it down and actually don't even use any gun oil because I don't want to attract dirt and lint. I think I will go a little Rust-Oleum and see how it works, I don't care about touch-ups anyways because these are just tools.
I use this. Not sure where i got it. Not advance. I dont think mine is the 'turbo' either

this is the answer. using olive green and chestnut colors on mine cause the local hardware store didn't have the camo colors.
Amazing, only your second post and you’ve already figured out how to include your feet in the photo. Also, your front site is on backwards, spin that thing around and re-zero it for health points.

Yeah my 360 PD is no fun. That's the only one that I'm thinking of not painting. My first round in the cylinder is a 110 grain silver tip, the next round is a 140 grain underwood extreme penetrator 38 special plus p, my final three are 140 grain underwood 357 extreme penetrators. The way I figure it is I've been shooting JFrames for 30 years and the first round I figure I might not have a great grip on it but if I get a hit and can follow up with a second round things might be over. If not you just hold on to your balls and fire the next three.

This is the way.

I use mesh bags with different size mesh for pattern. Held tight to rifle gives distinct pattern or held slightly off surface a fuzzy one

IIRC directions call for 48 hours to dry to handle and a full week to get full hardness. It really does set up harder in course of a week. Soooo hard to not play with them b

I think we need a gun art thread of custom painted / cerakoted guns and process/materials used/documented
