looking for s&w 1911 e series sc

Hi,
I thought I saw one in Hunters Trading post, south Weymouth. I think it was priced $1100 something. I know they closed down for a couple weeks. They do every summer but they may be back open again. Good news for you is I was in just before they closed so it should still be there.

You know they are on the mass list so you can buy them anywhere, like gunbroker, and have it shipped in via FFL. Did it myself in wmass.

The SW1911- E Series is stainless. The SW1911-SC E Series is scandium [wink]

Woops, yup your correct, I looked at it to fast, it is the SC that is the scandium...

I picked one up from Four Seasons a few months back...

I love it, it is now my daily carry gun...

I also added a Crimson Trace laser to it and XS Big Dot sights, it's 100% great gun now...

Beautiful gun. I love mine also. I have the two tone version. I picked it up a few weeks ago at FS as well. I've yet to work it into the carry rotation. You know, me being a Glock guy and all. Old habits [laugh]

i got my e-series from n.attleboro north east traders, i did see they had 1 in used and the other model with the scandium frame very nice, also bass pro in foxboro has one. my opinion fantastic peice ive done a little couple things to mine just to make it mine and not ur average off the shelf but by far a great peice lots of fun at the range and come winter it will be my carry peice

I boycott a&j's service sucks there, i emailed gun's and gear ill wait for a response.

Boy, you're limiting yourself there. They've got the biggest selection of all the other area shops combined. To each his own.

How about Davidson's? Bentley Hollow at the Williamstown/Hancock border (rte 43) is one of their dealers. The Davidson's site lists prices, I'm not sure if there's any wiggle room in there.

I've never dealt with Bentley Hollow, but I hear it's a mom and pop place and they're very accommodating. And if you're up for it, they like to talk guns.
