i think with some creativity from a DA it still can be used against you to still convict you for manufacturing.
as you will be renting out your premises and hardware to others.
He's not talking about renting anything.

Jig, a hand held variable speed router with the end mill bit and a drill (drill press helps but not needed) and you are good to go. It's not that hard. I made a few small mistakes on the first one I did but it it is fully functional with a few non function impacting blemishes. After the first one, the rest were even easier.
I have a few miscounts on the first one I milled since I was counting turns on a manual mill without DROs.
Can't see them from the outside and the lower functions perfectly - so unless you punch an extra hole in the "wrong" place, no harm-no foul.

Pretty hard to do so if no consideration is offered - otherwise they could pull that string until they went after people for posting how-to tutorials.

dunno, may be, maybe not. not sharing my underwear with no one, nor want no one elses. same with a certain gear which i may or may not possess.

try proving it when convicted with it, when somebody else will mill it on your gear in your house and then sell it.
It would have to be proven and given there would be no evidence to collect since I wouldn't accept anything and toss the person out on their ass if offered.

I have the right to teach someone how to use an small cnc mill for a part with 5 tool changes and two setups.

I'm talking about the whole milling machine, not just the end mill bits.
You posted for "end mills" which are the cutting tools used. NOT an actual milling machine. Two VERY different things. Also, any milling machine small enough to be moved by a single person is going to be a TOTAL pain to finish a lower. I found that out the hard way about a decade ago.

I sure as F won't let my machine leave my place. Unless you want to give me enough $$ to be sure it will return in the same condition it left in. It also tips the scales at over 800# as it currently sits.

I thought you meant the actual tool also

I wouldn't let someone borrow my mill either and it's small enough for one person to move.
And as @Golddiggie says it is a bitch to mill out a lower on by hand.

I’m not sure who would enjoy the dick punching by trying to mill out a lower by hand without a jig. That lower would look like the P80 polymer lowers you’ll find posted on reddit done in a kitchen with a dull spoon somewhere in Ohio.

I can finish one with an easy jig in about 1-1.5 hrs and it comes out very slick. First time I did one it was more like 3 hrs.
