I am wondering how the quality of RRA($85) compares to DPMS($95) for their lpks. As it is I'm going to have to pay a little more to begin with and am wondering if the price difference is worth it.

i have a DPMS kit in my AR and i am very satisfied with the quality of the parts.

+1 RRA great for everything I would need a carbine for. I would think about a match trigger kit for anything else.

I would go with RRA. Just because it's more expensive doesn't mean it's better.

I've never had an issue with the DPMS kits.

Most likely the parts came form the same manufacture DPMS and RRA do not manufacture small parts.
RRA dosn't manufacture anything all RRA parts come form other manufactures. Lowers, uppers, barrels and all other parts. This is also true for most AR companies.
Almost all the parts for AR's come form the few same manudactures.
Don't be fooled by brand.
