Looks like these are finally hitting production, but sadly, I don't think we'll see them in the Republic of MA. At least not in this configuration. Maybe I should be ok with that considering the MSRP. These things are sexy as hell.

I have 2 9mm carbines and want one (at least one) in .45ACP. For no other reason than want. I don’t think that’s the one I’d buy, but I’m sure there are plenty other options out there.

I personally really dig the design, but guns are so subjective--I can get others not digging it. It just happens to hit all my subgun buttons. I also want a .45ACP carbine for just about the same reason (just want).

May be kind of a moot point for me in MA though, as I can't immediate see these becoming available any time soon. At least not in this configuration. Maybe if they make a goofy 16" carbine version that you then have to tax stamp down to its original configuration.

Is a new select fire SMG legal anywhere for non LEO?

I would think a semiauto version would be fine in mass if you get a tax stamp. or in carbine version as mentioned.

This pistol is only available in semi-auto. I said I would buy one when it released but I haven’t done it yet. I’m slightly annoyed it has a threaded barrel instead of a 3-lug.
