M&P 15 Stock Question?

Hey guys, quick question the faux stock on the M&P 15's: what kind of buffer/spring does it have? I'm going to replace the stock for a pinned CTR. I know I need a new tube, but do I need the buffer and spring too?

I think m&p's are mil-spec tubes but I'm not positive. You shouldnt need a new spring or buffer, just the tube. I actually just installed an EMod on my AR and got away with using the original tube.

Yes, they're Mil-spec, but I think the tube is longer than a regular carbine tube, I could be wrong though.

Dunno if it helps but I remember mine had a carbine length buffer when I took my stock off. Don't have that spring anymore.

Buffer and spring are standard carbine length.

Carbine length milspec. I put the CTR on mine and I love it. Authentic Magpul parts are crazy good.
