I would like to see these hit the shelf in stores in MA, been waiting a while along with a lot of others. I sent an email to Smith this morning to inquire of the status of it getting the go to be released here. I got a short one line answer...."we don't have a model that passes the requirements." No sh*t Sherlock. I'll guess since they are made by Walther we won't see a MA compliant one anytime soon. But they do make a CA one and I think they require that to have that huge orange loaded indicator, so maybe there's hope. [rolleyes]

You talking the 15-22? Bobs in salisbury has one

No, he's talking about the M&P 22, the .22LR Pistol. I wish there was some glimmer in the future for that.

That is a .22 I would really like to own, damn it. But of course the Attorney General knows what's best for us. Can't have those cheap Smith and Wesson firearms being sold to the public.

I was told months ago no way it wont pass - I've been looking since I have the M&P9 but I settled on the ruger SR22. I'd love to get a M&P22 but the trigger is the issue Who wants a 10lb trigger on a DA only 22

april 22nd, silver city has them at 419ish
This is in MA? Smith says nothing ready for MA compliant testing. And yes, this is the .22 M&P pistol. That's not to say one can't get in by someone moving to the state. I'll call zero hour tomorrow cause I want one. Lets hope all these sightings lead to something. This is what they sent me yesterday..

Dear Customer,
At this time we do not have a design that can pass the requirements.
If further assistance is required please reply accordingly.
Sincerely,
Paul G

Well if you do get one be prepared to wait for a spare magazine. I have had an order in with S&W for 18 weeks now. I have called and emailed and just got the typical CS response "We are sorry for the inconvenience and we have no Flipping idea when they are coming in"
