M&P .22

I've not seen one on a Mass dealers shelf, anywhere. Are these MA compliant? Smiths web site lists 3, the hi cap, the 10 rounder, and the CA compliant. I assume the 10 would be for MA sales, or is it? Anyone own one? I'd like to get a look at one cause it looks decent for the price point.

Don't think they are MA compliant (at least that's what I was told here when asking the same question).

received the same answer when I called around looking for one. Was also told that with the D/A only they wont even try, not sure how much truth is in that .... Did pick up a nice SR22 after all that and have been happy

not Mass compliant. I've been wanting one ever since they first released it. This was posted on their FB page all the way back in Aug 2011:

M&P 22 - You asked: When will there be a Mass Compliant gun? We would like to have a MA compliant M&P22 and are assessing our next steps. We would estimate no sooner than Spring 2012.

I had inquired with S&W customer service back in dec.2012 and the response that I recieved stated that they did not have any info at this time. Who knows if the M&P 22 will be affected by the Walther S&W split recently.

If you go to the S&W page on the M&P 22 you'll see a CA compliant model listed and to the left of it there is a another model with a 10 round mag. Dollars to donuts, that's gonna be the MA gun. M&P22  - .22LR - Smith & Wesson
