Has anyone had problems with rounds feeding in their M&P 9c? I'm not even sure it's a problem, but when I cycle the slide manually the nose of the round hangs up on the feed ramp momentarily. It does it with round nose and hollow point ammunition. I've cleaned and lubed the piece a couple of times, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm planning to take it to the range and see if the problem results in a FTF.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Mine feeds everything.

Your not riding the slide with your hand are you? Just pull back and let it fly.

Polishing the ramp and chamber with a little jeweler rouge never hurt anything either.

I might be riding the slide, but I don't think so. I just cycled 30 rounds through by hand with no problem. So, it might be me. Hopefully I'll get to the range today to give it a try.

With my wife's new 9c I had same issue. At the range no problems, ran fine. Also problem solved it's self after 200 rounds first day.

Thanks. I took it to the range today and ran about 120 rounds through it without a hitch. I don't think the previous owner fired it very much, so all it probably needs is to be broken in a bit.

The only feeding issues I've had with either of my M&P's (full size & compact) is with rounds that were too long (my reloads). It eats everything else I feed it.

when i got my M&P9 FS, it would hang up once in a while, but after a couple hundred rounds it was fine. i assumed it was the magazine, since those 10 rounders are pretty tight. never once had a feeding issue at the range with it though
