M&P40 Pro Series-MA approved?

I just noticed that S&W has indeed made the 5" barrel M&P40...I haven't seen it on shelves yet, but I was wondering if you guys thought this gun will likely be approved for purchase in MA. Thanks!

Doubtful, the 9L isn't on the list and 9Pro isn't/won't be in it's current configuration.

Yeah, not going to happen. The trigger is too good to meet the AG's regs, but the gun isn't fancified enough to meet the rules for the formal competition roster.

Though I didn't need to look it up to tell you it's the S&W "5906 IDPA Competition", and Strayer Voigt Sight Tracker and Open Competition models.
