I want to trade for a M1895 Nagant this weekend. Already handled one, and the best way I can describe it would be familiar and comfortable.

So, any M1895 fans on here?

I picked up a pair last fall. One of the hazards of having a C&R is that you go online shopping after a few beers and end up with guns that you wouldn't normally buy. Shipping for two was $1 more than shipping for one.

They are fun to shoot. Sort of a PITA to unload, but that's part of the charm.

I have 1. i had 2 but sold one .... EH...
more than willling to get rid of mine. it's not worth much so i really don't bother worrying about selling..
PITA to load, unload, ... no kick , hard trigger pull,
just not the one i reach for when i am going to the range...... just not a lot of reasons

Not to mention that the price of ammo for them was up there before the hoarding began.

If you can, find a .32 ACP Cylinder for it. Century Arms used to sell them. Not sure if they still do.

And Yes, I have one. It was stuck up in the ceiling joists at my Grandfathers house. This was WELL before they started importing them.

My brothers used it to play cops and robbers when they were kids back in the 50's. LOL

The only ammo I found locally was upwards of $10 a box. I ended up buying what I consider to be a lifetime supply at around $4.75 a box online.

The OP is not from MA, so he should have no problem getting ammo at <$5 a box. Still pricey, but it's not as if you shoot these things a ton.
