Howdy folks,

Tried a search on this but came up pretty dry, and MFL hasn't returned my email yet. A couple friends and I were thinking of making the drive up to Manchester Firing Line to waste a lot of money with their M60. I'm trying to figure out how much money that will be. Do they let you share? By that, I mean, could 3 people split the $100 cost of the rental, and is that cost by hour? Also, does anyone know what belts of frangible .308 are running for these days?

Thanks for your help! If no one knows, I suppose I'll have to call them (What? Use a phone? Heavens Forbid!)

M60

I'm sorry guy - but have had no frangible ammunition for the M60 in almost a year. My loader cannot find any .308 brass. There will be a day - maybe by the end of the year, when we will have a place to use standard ball [smile]

BTW - We have 250,000 rounds of ball just waiting for that time!

Well then, I guess I'll just have to keep an eye out for an announcement about that place!

How is the ammo stock for the other autos, or are you running dry across the board?

No friends or club members that shoot full auto? We shoot alot of full auto at Harvard Sportsmens Club. Btw I bought 2 of my full autos from Manchester Firing Line. Jim is a great guy to do business with.

I moved to Mass 6 months ago, just getting around into the whole shooting thing up here. I rented from a local range back home (PA), and was gonna rent their autos but ran outa cash. I'm taking the GOAL Basic pistol class in August, then applying for my LTC. No club yet, no friends that shoot yet (that I know of...), all in good time. Though, that good time might be ending with the new legislation being pondered....bah
